1. Describe your shoe. Use enough details that we will be able tell from the description which shoe is yours.
My shoe is black and it has three wide lines slanted towards the front. These lines are white. The tip of the shoe comes over the top and covers my toes. They are athletic shoes. They used to be really black but they are kinda wore now so they are almost turning grey. The junk was on the floor
I didn't want to be here
But I came to help anyway
Because I knew I would get a beer
Now I'm tired of moving
I just wanna sleep
So I went to lay down

Short Story
A kid named Jamal always picked on this boy in school. Everyday Jamal would push him around in the hallway. The kid’s name is Chase. Jamal had a rough past that made him this way. His mom died when he was young and his dad was doing the best he could to take care of him. Everyone likes Chase so no one knew why he got pushed around so much by Jamal. They were apart of a big school and there was always a lot complications in the school between clichés. Jamal was a punk but he always was a jock. Chase was just a normal guy that hung out and got along with everybody. Everyone liked to be around Chase because he was always in a good mood and he made everyone laugh. Jamal had it in his mind to do one last big thing to Chase and then he was going to try to clean up his act. Now of course Jamal wasn’t smart enough to plan anything he is going to do he just knew he wanted to do something to Chase one last time. Jamal was thinking about messing with Chase’s girl friend or beat him up. One day after Jamal got out of wrestling practice he saw Chase standing there in the hallway, Chase was very depressed and disappointed in himself for not making the school play additions that where that day. Jamal came up to him one last time. Chase told Jamal to leave him alone and to just not mess with him right now but Jamal didn’t listen. Chase’s girlfriends name was Abigail. Jamal got her number and asked her to hang out sometime. She said okay becauseJamal pushed him back into a table that had a bunch of girls sitting at it. All the girls jumped at the sight thinking it could mess up there hair or they could get hurt if they got in the way. One of the girls named Vadonna got up and told Jamal to stop or he will regret it. Jamal said, “What are you going to do about it?” Now Vadonna was a very complicated girl; she didn’t talk much but when she did it made sense and it was usually always something good. But this time she was mad; and she got made really easily. She was in and out of detention every other day it seemed like. Vadonna punched Jamal in the head and knocked him over. Jamal stunned by the blow just laid there for a while. People came running from all over, wondering what had happened with Jamal still laying on the ground. As everyone was standing there in shock Vadonna starts to walk through the group of people that now surround her. The boys and girls were all whispering and looking at her. Vadonna made it to class walking fast, without talking to anyone. Vadonna was thinking she was going to get sent to the office because of the incident but it was near the end of the day and she never got sent there. Jamal came up to Vadonna after school furious and said, “Why in the hell did you punch me?” She responded saying, “I’m sorry but you always pick on people at school and I think they are tired of it.” Jamal walked away because he knew she was right. No one talked to Jamal for the next week because everyone started to stand up for themselves.Last week Jamal went around terrorizing everyone and this week everything wasdifferent. Jamal was getting called a girl and everyone is school was making fun of him for getting beat up by a girl. Jamal went to the only person that was nice to him about the whole situation Vadonna… It was a Friday at the end of school Jamal came up to Vadonna and said, “We need to talk.” Vadonna had to work right after school so she gave him her cell phone number and told him to text her later if he really wanted to talk. Later that day Jamal text her and they actually talked for a while. For the next month and a half Jamal got made fun of just every once and a while. Jamal was used to all of it now. Prom was in a week and Jamal wanted to go because he was a senior and this was his last year to go but on the other hand he didn’t want to go there because if he got made fun of he thought it would just ruin his whole night. Vadonna and Jamal hung out a couple of times and Jamal wanted to ask her to go to Prom because Jamal though he wouldn’t get made fun of if he went with her and Jamal also started to have a crush on her. After school that day Jamal called Vadonna and asked her if she had a date to prom. She answered with a sigh and a “no”. Jamal started to go on with his plan about asking her, stuttering bad Jamal proceeded to ask, “Well, Vadonna I was wondering if you would go with me? Maybe just as friends… or if you wanted to be more than yeah... but we can go together because this is my senior year and I want to at least make an appearance…” Vadonna interrupting him says, “What color are you wearing?” Jamal very happily replies, “Uhhh, I don’t know, I haven’t got a tux yet.” Vadonna and Jamal talk more about what they are both going to wear. Jamal and Vadonna end up going to prom together. Chase and Abigail also went to prom together. They all hung out at prom and had a great time. Jamal finally found a reason not to pick on people anymore. Whenever Jamal and Vadonna get into problems in there relationship now Vadonna tells him she is going to punch him in the face again and they both laugh. Chase, Abigail, Jamal and Vadonna hang out just about everyday and they all have never been happier with their lives.

Too bad these bikes were assembled from crates

Wish I could pass this guy before the end
It hurts when the chunks of dirt hit my chest
Someone on the side yells, Oh that’s my friend
I had finally finished my long quest
First place had never felt this good before
Right now I’m wearing the jersey I wore
